When you email or telephone us, we may receive your name, company, email address, telephone number, project details and anything else you choose to include.
The enquiry utility on this website prepares a message in your own email application. The form contents are not uploaded to or stored by the website. Information reaches us only when you choose to send that email.
Website visits
Our hosting and security providers may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, date and time, and referring page. This information is used to deliver and protect the website.
Why we use it
We use personal information where necessary to:
- respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and take steps requested before a contract;
- deliver services and manage relationships with customers and suppliers;
- operate, secure and diagnose the website;
- meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating a secure business.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as it is useful for the enquiry and our legitimate business records. Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally reviewed for deletion after 24 months. If an enquiry becomes a customer or supplier relationship, relevant records may be kept longer to meet contractual, tax, accounting or legal requirements.
Technical logs are retained according to the security and diagnostic needs for which they were collected and the configuration of our hosting provider, then deleted or aggregated when no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
