01 / The service

Built around long-form aluminium.
Not adapted to it.

Swallow’s powder line is configured for the architectural aluminium supply chain, including façade, curtain-wall, window and door profiles.

The Gema OptiCenter system supports stable powder delivery and recovery through an automated horizontal process. Extrusions up to 7.0 metres can be coated alongside architectural sheet and flashings, subject to job review.

Every project begins with the substrate, performance environment and finish specification—not simply a colour reference.

Application principle
Stable delivery. Controlled recovery. Repeatable colour.

Process settings and finished work are checked against the agreed coating system and project requirements.

02 / Specification

Capability, stated clearly.

Profile capacity
Up to 7.0 metres

Long aluminium extrusions accommodated subject to section geometry and handling review.

Finish families
Four core systems

RAL Classic, British Standard, metallic and textured architectural polyester finishes.

Additional work
Sheet and flashings

Architectural sheet components and folded flashings can be reviewed alongside extrusion packages.

Pre-treatment
Seven-stage immersion

Chemetall chromium-free preparation provides the controlled foundation for coating adhesion.

Performance
Project-specific

C5 coastal-suitable systems are available where specified and confirmed for the application.

Verification
In-house testing

Mechanical and chemical checks support process control and finished-product assessment.

03 / Coating sequence

From clean metal
to controlled finish.

Powder performance depends on every upstream and downstream stage working together.

  1. 01

    Review

Profile, alloy, length, quantity, colour and exposure are confirmed.

  2. 02

    Pre-treatment

The seven-stage immersion sequence prepares the aluminium surface.

  3. 03

    Application

Powder is electrostatically applied on the automated horizontal line.

  4. 04

    Cure and verify

The coating is cured, inspected and tested against the required controls.
